Leicester Heavy Metal

Date: May 2023
Client: Sheffield Hallam University – Art and Design Department
Role: Designer

Project Type: UX Case Study

As part of a Figma course, I designed a fictional ticketing platform called Leicester Heavy Metal. The brief required the creation of a full brand identity, along with both mobile and desktop user interfaces.

A key branding challenge was to incorporate a frog into the identity. I developed a playful yet bold wordmark with fluid, rhythmic letterforms that capture the energy of live music. The frog mascot strikes the iconic rock hand gesture, adding personality and memorability to the brand.

The final prototype includes a dynamic homepage, a favourites section, ticket-purchasing animation, as well as intuitive search, settings, and navigation features – all designed to deliver a seamless user experience across devices.
