Makeup by Millie came to me with the goal of elevating her brand and positioning herself as a leading luxury bridal makeup artist in the Midlands. She wanted to stand out from competitors, build trust and, most importantly, make her booking process quick and seamless. securing enquiries before potential clients went elsewhere. The website needed to feel effortless, premium and conversion-focused – not just visually appealing.
Although Millie initially requested a grey, pink and white colour palette, I proposed a more refined direction using dusty pinks and deep purples to better align with her luxury ambitions and target audience of women aged 25+ with mid-to-high incomes. Paired with a serif typeface, this created a sense of elegance, establishment and trust, reflecting her desire to be seen as one of the best in her field.
Large-scale, immersive imagery puts Millie’s work front and centre, allowing visitors to emotionally connect with her artistry while reinforcing the high-end feel of the brand. Combined with a clear, streamlined contact flow, the final site delivers a luxury, elevated experience that makes enquiring feel easy, confident and fast – exactly what both Millie and her clients need.
